At a major automotive parts manufacturer, products after casting were temporarily stored on pallets in multiple warehouses until they were put into the processing stage. They were placed according to product type, but individual location management was not possible, leading to time-consuming searches through all target products. Additionally, preventing the outflow of defective products was also an important issue. By achieving location management at the individual item level, forklift operators can be instructed on the location of products and where to transport them, thereby improving productivity. Furthermore, warnings are issued when transporting specified items such as defective products.
