The "Acoustic Corer" is a seabed stratigraphy exploration system manufactured and operated by Kraken Robotics. It is capable of acquiring acoustic core data at a diameter of approximately 14 meters and a depth of 40 to 60 meters below the seabed. The data obtained with this product can be processed while conducting exploration work offshore, allowing for real-time evaluation of foundation locations and decisions on additional exploration. Furthermore, more detailed data processing will be conducted after the offshore exploration work is completed, and it can generally be provided within about one month. 【Main Applications and Features】 - Generation of detailed stratigraphic structure maps through high-resolution 3D visualization evaluation of strata. - High-precision identification of the size and location of obstacles such as large boulders (>0.2m), shallow gas, and unexploded ordnance beneath the seabed at monopile and jacket installation sites. - Correlation of inconsistent CPT data and core sample data in complex strata. - Linking AC data to geotechnical data such as core samples for a comprehensive ground evaluation of the entire installation site with minimal drilling investigation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
