It supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for flexible layout options and eliminating wiring to connected devices for a neat equipment configuration. With a large reading surface and compatibility with LCD displays, it can also read barcodes for mobile payment and mobile coupons displayed on smartphones. Since there are no limitations on ports or cable lengths with wireless connections, it pairs well with space-saving tablet registers. Due to these features, it has also been adopted by university co-ops for their registers.
