Savillex's PFA vials are made from high-purity PFA resin and are ideal for the stable long-term storage of DNA. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States uses these PFA vials for the storage and transportation of DNA. Due to the absence of impurities leaching out, many DNA samples stored in these PFA vials for over six years show little to no degradation, and samples stored in PFA vials under harsh temperature conditions have been detectable for six months. (No certificates of results are issued.) The vials have excellent liquid release properties, allowing for the complete recovery of samples without loss.
