The "U Meter Series" from Seki Hiro Engineering is an electronic watt-hour meter equipped with a misconnection detection function. It has the same terminal arrangement as conventional induction types, allowing for the reuse of existing wiring. It complies with the Measurement Law and has obtained type approval from the Japan Electric Meter Inspection Institute.
