Case Study of Bidirectional Wind Turbine (10KW Class) Installation in Shinmaiko, Aichi Prefecture
Introducing the new multi-stage design! Information on typhoon response and lightning protection (Rising Strike).
We would like to introduce a case of the installation of a new multi-stage bidirectional wind turbine (10KW class) in Shinmaiko, Aichi Prefecture. After a typhoon, the cut-out is very minimal, and the tornado-type wind turbine can generate power even in strong winds. Although its generation efficiency is inferior to that of propeller-type turbines, it is characterized by a high operating rate. For lightning protection (rising strike), each of the three triangular body columns has a lightning rod installed, which vertically grounds induced lightning through the lightning rods on each column, minimizing damage. 【Case Overview】 ■ Installation Location: Shinmaiko, Aichi Prefecture ■ Installed Product: Bidirectional Wind Turbine (10KW class) ■ Installation Effects ・High operating rate even after a typhoon ・Even if directly struck by lightning, the blades mounted on the triangular body and two axes have an extremely low risk of falling *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
