The dry gas seal "TYPE 28ST" that we handle reduces steam leakage by about two orders of magnitude compared to conventional segment carbon rings and labyrinth seals, which combine proven rotary groove technology with high-temperature secondary seals. This steam-lubricated, end-face cartridge seal automatically responds to sudden changes in operating conditions to maintain a safe and reliable face gap.
