Implemented in accordance with the provisions of JWWA A103-1988! Information on screening tests, washing turbidity tests, and more is included.
This document explains the testing of filtration materials in use based on the Japan Water Works Association standard JWWA A103. It includes tests such as the "sieving test," "cleaning turbidity test," "adhered material turbidity test," and "quantitative test for adhered metal substances." We continue to conduct tests in accordance with the regulations established in 1988 under JWWA A103-1988. However, regarding the standard solution for turbidity measurement, we have changed from the previously used kaolin suspension to a polystyrene particle suspension for calibration due to revisions in water quality standards.
