The "Chiffon-type Filtration Sand Washing Machine" can clean to a turbidity level of 30 degrees or below (JWWA A103 standard), comparable to new sand, as it removes even adhering substances. It is possible to maintain the particle size without breaking it down, and to adjust the effective diameter and uniformity coefficient. Excess sludge and manganese layers are stripped away, leaving only the ideal manganese layer.
