Selected as the "Low CO2 Kawasaki Brand '11"! It is possible to always maintain the filtration material in an optimal condition.
We have developed a new filtration pond maintenance management system that incorporates the "Chiffon Cleaning" technology, which can remove only the dirt attached to the filtration material without crushing the filtration material itself in a short time. The "Chiffon K3 System" works by extracting a certain amount of filtration material from the rapid filtration pond at the water purification plant during each backwashing, transporting it to the Chiffon K3 cleaning machine for chiffon (rubbing) cleaning, and then returning it to the filtration pond. By regularly performing chiffon cleaning during each backwash, it has become possible to remove turbidity and residual sludge (such as mud balls) that could not be cleaned by previous surface cleaning or backwashing methods. 【Features】 - It can avoid sludge detachment phenomena, allowing for stable water quality. - The turbidity of the filtered water is reduced, contributing to measures against Cryptosporidium. - It prevents the reduction of filtration layer thickness. - It maintains an ideal manganese layer while retaining manganese treatment capacity. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Other Features】 ■ The filtration material can be kept clean, allowing for reduced maintenance costs. - Eliminates the need to purchase new filtration material during rehabilitation work, protecting valuable natural mineral resources. - No need to dispose of used filtration material as industrial waste. - Eliminates the burden of construction water used for rehabilitation work. - No need to suspend filtration ponds for rehabilitation work. ■ It is possible to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. - CO2 emissions from equipment, construction water, transport vehicles, and industrial waste related to rehabilitation work can be reduced. - Shortening backwash time can reduce CO2 during water production. (CO2 equivalent coefficients are estimated from Simple-LCA, steel industry statistical yearbook, and municipal water bureau environmental reports.) - Operating two ponds as one system can achieve a 27% reduction in CO2 emissions. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
