We would like to introduce a case where "Super Flood Barrier H3000" was implemented as a flood prevention measure at the Samukawa Factory of Shinmeiwa Industries, Ltd. ■Background The consideration for flood prevention measures at the Samukawa Factory began after Typhoon 2019 caused the Arakawa River to reach dangerous water levels, nearly resulting in flooding. While the new factory planned to raise the foundation of the facility, doing the same for the existing cubicle would require halting operations, which would lead to lost opportunities and high costs. Therefore, we decided to install flood barriers on the existing cubicle and searched for a water-stopping barrier and flood barrier approximately 2 meters high. ■Reason for Choosing KTX The decision was based on the availability of analysis and experimental data, as well as KTX's proven track record in manufacturing for automotive interior molds.
