Addressing automation gaps with intelligent robots for cleaning factories.
The textile and apparel industry is currently facing significant challenges due to supply chain and energy issues. The future recovery is also threatened by factors that hinder production, such as shortages of labor and equipment. German deep tech startup sewts GmbH (Munich) is focusing on the great opportunities presented by this task. They are developing solutions that utilize human-like robots, which predict how fabrics move and how to adjust actions accordingly. Using a system that employs both 2D and 3D cameras from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH, the company's young entrepreneurs are automating the last remaining manual processes in large-scale industrial cleaning. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
