The British Museum in London is one of the most famous museums in the world, housing over 8 million works of art, of which 150,000 are displayed sequentially. The museum is 264 years old and has issues with red rust sludge in its air conditioning hot water piping. To prevent damage to the artworks caused by leaks in the piping, it was necessary to protect the pipes.
