The customer had set a goal of "80% of purchased electricity to be renewable energy by 2030," but they felt that they lacked the necessary materials to determine what measures were possible in Japan, their effectiveness, the costs and feasibility of each measure, and trends among other companies. They found it difficult to organize and analyze the overwhelming amount of information with their own resources to make decisions on measures. Therefore, we proposed providing a research report with the information needed to make decisions on measures. With this report, they were able to quantitatively confirm the facts and found it helpful for prioritizing on a global scale. They decided to start with locations like China and South Korea, where the systems are relatively easy to understand and cost-effective.
