In August 2020, Sanyo Industrial Co., Ltd. updated its weather resistance testing equipment, replacing the existing carbon arc type weather resistance testing device with the "I Super Xenon Tester XER-W83" using xenon lamp technology. Until now, the mainstream weather resistance testing equipment in Taiwan has been the carbon arc type, but there is a growing trend in the Taiwanese market to transition to xenon lamp technology in line with the times. This weather resistance testing machine, which can conduct tests under conditions close to the spectral distribution of sunlight, is utilized as a highly correlated ultra-accelerated weather resistance testing machine, particularly for material experiments of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles exposed to sunlight outdoors.
