AI Facial Recognition Security System FaceMe Security

In this update, we have enabled 1:N facial recognition on compatible Axis cameras, eliminating the need for a video analysis workstation in the system configuration. Additionally, we have added new features such as centralized management of multiple locations via AWS cloud, as well as entry/exit and presence management. 【Main New Features】 ■ 1:N Facial Recognition on Axis Cameras Facial detection to facial recognition can be performed on compatible Axis cameras equipped with ARTPEC-9. This allows for a system configuration that does not require a GPU workstation, contributing to reduced installation and maintenance costs. ■ Centralized Management via AWS Cloud Personal information and authentication history are centrally managed in the cloud, streamlining operations across multiple locations such as retail stores and factories. ■ Integration with AI Agents Supports searching and summarizing facial recognition events using natural language, aiding in the efficiency of security operations. ■ Utilization for Entry/Exit Management and BCP Measures Records entry and exit via Face Terminal, and allows for confirmation of presence and duration of stay. This can be used for visitor management in factories and data centers, as well as for confirming presence during emergencies.

■ Details of Injection Attack Detection (IAD) < Protecting the Data Path from Image Capture to Face Recognition Engine > By monitoring the data path from the capture of facial images to the authentication process, we enhance the security of identity verification using smartphones and other devices by detecting attacks that inject counterfeit data by bypassing the camera module. < Protecting Each Layer of Applications, OS, and Camera > The injection attack detection of FaceMe SDK checks the status of each layer that constitutes identity verification and detects the following irregularities and risks: - Detection of spoofing using virtual cameras and camera API hooks - Integrity verification of applications and FaceMe SDK - Measures against tampering, debugging, and analysis of applications - Detection of rooted Android devices and jailbroken iOS devices - Detection of execution in emulators and virtual environments - Continuous monitoring of device status in the background

■ Details of the FaceMe Security 8.9 Update 1. Optimized Flow for Face Image Registration Administrators can now send notifications for face image registration to the individuals being registered when entering user information. The individuals can access the registration page using the URL or QR code provided in the notification from their smartphones, and follow the on-screen instructions to register their own face images. Key Features - Registration notifications via URL and QR code - Automated quality checks for face images - Support for approval and reshoot request flow by administrators - Support for bulk invitations via CSV 2. Support for Two-Factor Authentication with "Card + Face" The YouMe 500 facial recognition device from GIS now supports two-factor authentication (2FA) using "Card + Face." By combining card authentication with facial recognition, the risk of lending and fraudulent use, which is difficult to prevent with card-only systems, is reduced, enabling safer access control. This feature is suitable for use in environments requiring high security, such as access control to critical areas, factories, research facilities, and data centers.

This time, the ACS-5000 is available as a facial recognition terminal compatible with FaceMe Security's add-on feature "Face Terminal," enabling access control management that combines "advanced anti-spoofing features" with high-speed facial recognition powered by edge AI. ■ Main Features 1. Accelerated Authentication Processing FaceMe Security is optimized for the MediaTek Genio 700's NPU, achieving faster facial recognition processing and reduced CPU load compared to processing with only the CPU. It ensures stable authentication without delays even during peak times, such as clocking in and out, contributing to alleviating congestion. 2. Advanced "Anti-Spoofing" Optimized for the IR + RGB camera mounted on the ACS-5000. It can quickly detect fraudulent authentication using photos, videos, or 3D masks within 0.6 seconds, ensuring reliable identity verification. 3. Door Control Without Additional Equipment FaceMe Security can directly control the digital I/O of the ACS-5000, allowing for the construction of an access control management system without the need for additional equipment. This simplifies system configuration and reduces implementation costs.
