The customer wants to prevent employees and part-time workers from accidentally entering the area around large machine tools while they are in operation, where it is impossible to install safety fences. To address this issue, they have introduced "mat switches." The product has been installed in a U-shape around the perimeter of the machine tool area, configured to trigger an emergency stop when stepped on.
