At Oyu Tolgoi, one of the largest known copper and gold deposits in the world, there was a need to install steel linings in vertical ore bodies with a maximum diameter of 3 meters and depths of 30 to 70 meters, while seeking a safe and reliable solution that provides precision and synchronized control. Enerpac strand jacks, powered by electric or diesel-driven hydraulic power packs, fully control the lifting operations through their unique SCC-Smart Cylinder Control System. These are ideal for customers seeking precise synchronized control with the capability to lift heavy loads in an economical, compact, and reliable installation footprint. The company used four "HSL7006 strand jacks" for the installation of the steel linings. With automatic lock/unlock operations, the system is controlled by one operator from a central location, enhancing safety. It not only strengthens synchronized control during descent but also allows for fine adjustments during lowering to remove obstacles during installation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
