"ZENFormer" is a digital servo press machine that achieves complete parallel control through its unique mechanism of "four-axis independent control," which operates a single slide using four ball screws. By employing linear scales installed at the four corners of the slide, it performs full closed-loop feedback control, ensuring that the slide remains parallel at all times. It also continuously corrects variations in the bottom dead center position, minimizing them to achieve high-precision molding. Additionally, it is capable of generating full power throughout the entire stroke, something that conventional mechanical presses cannot achieve. ZENFormer is a digital servo press developed with the concept of achieving high precision comparable to that of machine tools. 【Common Features of the ZENFormer Series】 ■ Strong parallel control against eccentric loads By employing linear scales at all four corners of the slide, full closed-loop feedback control is implemented, allowing the slide to be kept parallel at all times. This enables high-precision processing even when eccentric loads occur. ■ Full power generation possible at any position during the stroke In conventional mechanical presses, the generated pressure varies depending on the stroke position, but the ZENFormer can generate full power throughout the entire stroke. Therefore, high-precision processing is also possible for deep drawing and forming. ■ Micron-level repeatability accuracy at the bottom dead center The variation in the bottom dead center position across all four axes is minimized through full closed-loop feedback control for each axis, ensuring constant correction. Even during continuous operation, the variation in the bottom dead center position remains within ±1µm.
