◆Advancement and Operational Innovations for ZEB Transformation On February 1, Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. announced that its super high-rise office building "Hareza Tower" received the highest award, the "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (ZEB/ZEH category)," in the Energy Conservation Grand Prize 2022 for energy-saving initiatives. The "Energy Conservation Grand Prize" is a system that recognizes energy-saving efforts, products, and business models that serve as a model for others. ZEB and ZEH refer to buildings and homes aimed at achieving net-zero primary energy consumption annually. ◆Achieving Energy Savings by Reevaluating Air Conditioning and Indoor Illumination The company undertook energy-saving measures in "Hareza Tower" by reevaluating the power supply and control systems of the air conditioning units and the illumination levels in the office rental spaces. In the air conditioning units, the development and adoption of grid-type air conditioners and grid-type humidifiers have reduced the power supply, contributing to a reduction of approximately 6.32 kW per floor in the upper floors. Additionally, to enhance efficiency, a system capable of optimal operation control using sensing data was implemented. Furthermore, the illumination levels in the office rental spaces were reduced from the standard specification of 700-750 lx to 500 lx by using carpets with high reflectivity and designs that create a sense of brightness.
