A certain automobile manufacturer had critical load equipment that could not be powered down even during long-term factory shutdowns. During the shutdown, it was necessary to supply the required power using an emergency generator, and as a preparatory measure, changes to the power wiring routes were made. Additionally, a certain number of personnel were required to handle these tasks during the shutdown, and improvement measures were being considered. In response, we proposed a product that adds an automatic switching function to our electromagnetic contactor. If either the commercial power or the generator goes off, it automatically switches to the other power source. By starting the emergency generator and turning off the commercial power breaker, we were able to significantly reduce the human burden by automatically switching to the emergency power supply.
