Our country has a complex topography and geology, and due to the weak ground, ground disasters occur frequently. We will contribute to regional disaster prevention by demonstrating comprehensive capabilities from observation to analysis, proposal of countermeasures, and design. In the civil engineering design department, we conduct surveys of the current state of existing retaining walls and evaluate their safety and integrity, as well as propose future countermeasures. In such a situation, it is extremely important to understand and implement measures in advance regarding the presence of liquefaction during earthquakes, ground subsidence phenomena, and the stability of embankment slopes.
