Privacy-conscious blurring processing! Case study of implementation at the U-shaped curve of the men's restroom entrance (Hasuda City Comprehensive Cultural Center Hastopia).
We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror Awareness' handled by Komi Corporation, implemented at the Hasutopia Hall in Hasuda City. In the men's restroom of the hall, the entrance curves in a U-shape, which often led to people almost colliding with each other when entering or exiting. When we wanted to address this issue, we discovered a collision prevention mirror in a commercial facility's restroom. After searching online, we found this product. In addition to the effect of providing a vague reflection, we intentionally installed it at a slightly lower position to avoid showing faces, allowing us to prevent collisions while considering privacy. [Overview] ■ Product used: FF Mirror Awareness ■ Effect: Enabled collision avoidance while considering privacy *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, and to show "consideration" for others. For example, it can be used to check with a mirror if there is anyone coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to see if there is someone trying to get into an elevator and wait for them. Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful worldwide, from convenience stores to airplanes.
