Introduction of Schunk's CFRP sleeve for high-speed rotating motor applications.
Many successful recruitment results from major motor manufacturers around the world!
Our CFRP sleeves secure the rotating assemblies of surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motors (SPM) and synchronous motors (ESM), minimizing eddy current losses. In addition to using reinforced carbon fibers with high tensile strength characteristics, our high level of manufacturing precision allows us to minimize wall thickness. We can also produce sleeves with a wall thickness of over 10mm, similar to CFRP flywheels. 【Customer Benefits】 ■ Reduction or elimination of eddy current generation ■ Capability to support high-speed motors ■ Weight reduction ■ Improvement in the aesthetic design of motor designs Schunk provides a consistent service from prototyping to evaluation. ■ Assembly planning ■ Conducting sleeve factor (FE) analysis ■ Prototype production ■ Test assembly and evaluation ■ Chemical resistance evaluation For more details, please refer to our brochure and video.
