Reproducing movements close to those of the human hand! A case study of introducing robots into processes that involve complete manual work by skilled operators.

The painting hand spray gun assembly process at Meiji Machinery Manufacturing Co., which introduced robots this time, was previously a completely manual process performed by skilled workers. Since the main body of the spray gun is made of aluminum die-cast, the precision of hole positions and other aspects was low, requiring a lot of manual adjustments during assembly, leading to variations in quality and work time, low productivity, and the long-standing challenge of securing skilled workers.
