The "Corrosion Doctor" is an ultrasonic diagnostic device that investigates corrosion damage at the ground boundary of steel pipe columns such as signal poles, sign poles, and lighting poles. It measures four points at 90-degree intervals around the circumference of the pipe, instantly analyzes the reflected waveforms, and displays the results on a PC screen in three categories: "Sound," "Almost Sound," and "Corrosion Present."
