basic information
Qdos CWT is based on Qdos drive technology. The Qdos series offers a wide range of communication and connection options. Operator safety and environmental protection: • Sealed pump head to contain chemicals • Liquid leak detection software • Failure alarm function The Qdos CWT pump achieves excellent chemical injection for sustainable water treatment applications. The pump operates without vapor lock, steadily injecting chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite without excessive dosing. This pump is not affected by changes in ambient temperature, has a long service life, and reduces ownership costs.

Applications/Examples of results
At the San Luis Rey Water Reclamation Facility in Oceanside, California, there were issues with the pumps supplying sodium hypochlorite in the chlorine treatment cycle. By replacing the diaphragm pump with the Qdos peristaltic tube pump, the frequency of maintenance was reduced, and operators were no longer exposed to chemicals. Additionally, the operating pressure exceeded the pump's pressure specifications at over 0.5 MPa. The new Qdos CWT can be safely used at this high pressure. The innovative design of the Qdos pump, utilizing tube pump technology, ensures consistent long-lasting performance at high pressures of up to 0.7 MPa and is unaffected by exhaust or related vapor blockages from chemicals like sodium hypochlorite, which can cause some types of pumps to stop. Even when maintenance is required, the pump head can be replaced quickly, easily, and safely without the need for tools.
