The "LUVI-SC1" is a microscope-type non-destructive testing device that inspects fine latent defects in electronic components and precision mechanical parts without causing damage. It emits a laser downward from a laser oscillator to scan the surface of the test object. The ultrasonic propagation signal waveforms excited at each scan point are detected by a receiving sensor and recorded.
