They are suitable for industrial and scientific applications beyond the visible light range. The Goldeye short-wave infrared (SWIR) camera supports both active and passive temperature functions and is available in two types of housing designs. The compact and robust industrial version offers models with and without single-stage TEC cooling functionality for the sensor, optimizing adaptation to environmental conditions and ensuring highly reproducible image results. The advanced scientific version allows for powerful cooling performance of up to 60K (Kelvin) without condensation, thanks to its one-stage or two-stage TEC functionality integrated with a nitrogen chamber, enabling image acquisition with very long exposure times. The built-in fan for dissipating heat generated by the TEC function can be switched off to prevent image disturbances caused by vibrations. The active sensor cooling function is supported by a robust, highly heat-dissipating aluminum housing, which can expand the operating temperature range of the Goldeye short-wave infrared (SWIR) camera.
