Sharing groupware with customers! A case study utilizing the know-how of information sharing cultivated in-house.
At Company A, which conducts machine assembly, the factory manager managed the delivery dates of each machine, the planned personnel for each process, and the progress status of each process using handwritten notes. There were issues such as the need to review processes due to changes in delivery dates and frequent requests for urgent repairs that caused workers to go out, leading to planned changes not being communicated correctly to subordinates. They consulted us on "how to share information among everyone." We proposed using the freeware groupware that we utilize. With the introduction of the groupware, everyone can now always view the latest schedules. [Challenges] ■ The delivery dates of each machine, the planned personnel for each process, and the progress status of each process are managed by the factory manager using handwritten notes. ■ There are frequent changes in processes due to delivery date adjustments and urgent repair requests that cause workers to go out, resulting in planned changes not being communicated correctly to subordinates. ■ They have obtained ISO 9001 certification and are also struggling with the increasing management of documents year by year. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
