The SK-981HU is a dual-purpose extender equipped with both an optical module and a LAN port. The optical module supports 1LC (single-core) for both single-mode and multi-mode, while the LAN port uses Cat-5e/6, allowing for a maximum extension of 20km for optical and 152m for LAN. The included optical module is compatible with both single-mode and multi-mode. The maximum extension distance is up to 20km for single-mode and up to 2km for multi-mode. The supported resolution allows for 4K at 30Hz display even at maximum extension. The SK-981HU enables PC sharing. By using a gigabit hub, it allows operation of PCs from multiple remote locations. The SK-981HU is a device that extends HDMI monitors and USB mice/keyboards, but the receiver at the extension end can connect USB devices other than mice/keyboards. It is possible to mix with the SK-981DU (DVI version).
