This time, we will apply blast treatment and inorganic zinc coating to a frame measuring 10m in length and 2m in width. Inorganic zinc is officially referred to by two names: "inorganic zinc-rich paint" and "inorganic zinc-rich primer." The difference between these two lies in the distinction between thick-film and thin-film types, which can be a bit confusing. For this project, we used the thick-film type of inorganic zinc-rich paint. This paint contains a large amount of zinc powder and is specifically designed for priming. Zinc has a greater tendency to ionize than iron and is more prone to rusting. Therefore, the paint serves to protect the iron from corrosion by rusting in its place.
