■Details of Processing Technology Micro-dimple treatment creates tiny dimple-shaped depressions on the surface of a metal substrate. On top of this, a polymer reaction thin film fluorine-based coating, which excels in slip properties, non-stickiness, and water repellency, is applied. This reduces the contact area with the workpiece on the uneven surface, lowering surface resistance, while the fluorine coating, which follows the uneven surface with a thin film, provides slip properties, release characteristics, and water repellency effects depending on the grade. <Supplement> Micro-dimple treatment involves striking the surface of the substrate with particles that are so small they are nearly invisible, creating unevenness. Additionally, since the micro-dimple treatment itself is a surface treatment of the metal substrate, it improves adhesion to the substrate. The polymer reaction thin film fluorine-based coating excels in slip properties, but as a resin-based coating, it carries the risk of peeling off from the substrate due to aging deterioration. The micro-dimple treatment compensates for the shortcomings of the polymer reaction thin film fluorine-based coating. Through these combined treatments, a synergistic effect is achieved, further enhancing slip properties.
