In recent years, awareness of eco-friendliness has been increasing. This time, we will introduce eco-related novelty goods and the benefits of engaging in eco-related initiatives!
Environmental issues are becoming increasingly serious year by year. Amid the efforts towards the SDGs, consumer awareness is rising, starting with the implementation of the "charging for plastic shopping bags" in July 2020. In this context, we had the opportunity to conduct a survey among Generation Z (our own research). When asked, "Are you interested in the SDGs?" I expected the answer to be, "Of course, I am interested." However, many responded with "I am not interested." This unexpected answer led us to dig a little deeper, revealing that while they find the efforts towards the SDGs to be a given, they are concerned about whether society and companies are actually "engaging in these efforts." Based on this, I recommend the following two items: - Eco-bags: With the increase in demand due to the charging for plastic bags, eco-bags have become popular. If you are considering creating them as a promotional item, washable ones are recommended. If they can be kept clean, they also provide peace of mind from an infection prevention perspective. - Tote bags: Lightweight, easy to carry, and practical items that are popular. Among them, items that are "easy to fold and convenient to carry," "suitable for both men and women," and "can be worn over the shoulder" seem to be particularly well-received.
