■Details of Processing Technology This is a technology that uses a high-speed frame thermal spray gun to collide ultra-hard alloy (tungsten carbide) powder with the substrate at speeds exceeding the speed of sound to form a coating. Other thermal spray materials include ceramics and self-fusing alloys, but ultra-hard metal thermal spraying is particularly excellent in wear resistance and adhesion, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. It can also be applied to the repair and regeneration of worn or damaged areas. ■Processable Size Approximately up to 2500L for rolls and pipe-shaped outer surfaces. About 1500×2000 for flat surfaces. ■Processable Weight Up to 1.5 tons ■Processing Temperature Below 250°C. The surface temperature during thermal spraying briefly reaches 180°C to 220°C. ■Cautions (Defects due to Processing, etc.) Deformation or warping may occur due to shot blasting performed as a pre-treatment. It is difficult to apply if the inner diameter is small, such as on the inner surface of pipes. ■Base Material Processing is possible for almost all metals, but HRC must be 62 or lower (if the base material is too hard, pre-treatment cannot be performed). ■Delivery Time (Varies by Quantity and Size) Approximately 3 weeks.
