Matrix Corporation (Chuo Ward, Osaka City) is pleased to announce that it has begun developing a "safety device (tentative) to support the prevention of leaving buses behind."
[Background] In September 2022, an incident occurred in Shizuoka Prefecture where a 3-year-old girl was left behind in a bus at a certified children's garden and died from heatstroke. In response to the incident, the government announced a policy to mandate the installation of safety devices in all school buses used by kindergartens, nursery schools, and certified children's gardens to prevent leaving children behind. There is an urgent need for safety devices that utilize technology, rather than relying solely on human effort.

We propose equipment configurations tailored to our customers. If you have any challenges you would like to address, please feel free to consult with us. Let's think together about the best choices. 【Greetings】 In 1993, we encountered IC tags and believed that evolving this IC tag into a Matrix original was essential for our unique development. After much trial and error, we completed the semi-active IC tag (POWERTAG) in 1999, and began operations that year, marking the second founding period of Matrix. Currently, our product "POWERTAG" is used for various purposes, including competitive sports, entry and exit security, and safety management. We will continue our efforts in ideas, research, and development without pause to meet all kinds of needs.
