The standard tax rate for this corporate income tax is 25%. However, due to significant tax reduction policies implemented by the Chinese government in recent years, including the impact of the coronavirus, small businesses are currently subject to a tax rate of "2.5%." In this context, I will explain the requirements for small businesses that are eligible and the applicable period. Requirements for small businesses: They must meet the following four criteria: (1) They are not engaged in businesses that the state restricts or prohibits. (2) Their annual taxable income does not exceed 3 million yuan. (3) The number of employees does not exceed 300. (4) The total assets do not exceed 50 million yuan. Applicable period: From January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2022. Please note that the corporate income tax final return for the fiscal year 2020 is not included. The final returns for the fiscal years 2021 and 2022 are eligible. It's unfortunate that this applies only until the end of this year! I hope for an extension.
