A UV-curable tape with adhesive properties has emerged before UV irradiation. It enables strong bonding through a cross-linking reaction.
tesa (R) 8684 UV epoxy (UV-curing tape) enables strong bonding through a cross-linking reaction triggered by UV exposure. It has adhesive properties similar to typical double-sided adhesive tapes before exposure, allowing it to bond with substrates. After curing, it exhibits strength and durability comparable to liquid adhesives. This product is suitable for permanent fixation and assembly of various device components, as well as bonding materials that are difficult to join using heat press processing. <Main Features> - Has tack (stickiness) at room temperature, allowing bonding before UV exposure - Can accommodate materials with low UV transmittance by bonding immediately after UV exposure - Well-suited for bonding materials that are difficult to join using heat press processing *For more details, please download the product catalog.
