The purpose of utilizing the UFB nozzle in dialysis hospitals is for cleaning the dialysis piping and for cleaning the filtration membranes. Managing the type and concentration of the cleaning solution, as well as the cleaning time, places a significant burden on the responsible technician, in addition to the costs associated with equipment deterioration and replacement due to the cleaning solution. As a countermeasure to these issues, 'UFB DUAL' has been installed in two locations: the cleaning section of the dialysis line and the RO system. When installed during the introduction of water treatment, there has been no decrease in water quantity or quality even after six months, and we have been conducting observational studies for over two years after installation. The RO membranes have maintained a clean state, allowing us to significantly delay the replacement timing of the RO membranes and piping compared to usual.
