We are continuously developing new products while also focusing on the collection of safety data!
We are seeking research ideas for nasal mucosa studies using animal models. Currently, we are employing a method where a tube is inserted through either the right or left nasal cavity of rodent animal models to deliver a solution, while creating negative pressure in the opposite nasal cavity to collect the liquid. However, it seems that rodents, which cannot breathe through their mouths, are prone to having the liquid that enters through their noses easily reach their lungs. This leads to weakness during continuous washing, making it difficult to evaluate safety for long-term use. Therefore, we have decided to seek solutions to this issue from researchers across a wide range of fields working with animal models. If you have research ideas using animal models that can evaluate the safety of nasal irrigation products during continuous washing, please submit your proposals through the Innovation Portal linked below. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Desired Technology】 ■Ability to evaluate the safety of nasal irrigation products during continuous washing in vivo ・Assuming more than 21 washings (3 times/day × 7 days) ・Preferably using rodents due to the abundance of back data on nasal mucosa ・Also considering monkeys and dogs, but small animals that are easier to handle are preferred ・As long as they can reproduce the nasal cavity environment, nasal epithelial cells or mucosal cells cultured in layers, even if not in vivo, are acceptable <Technologies Not Applicable> ■Technologies evaluated through in vitro or human clinical trials <Expected Partners> ■Researchers in the field of nasal mucosa and allergies who work with animal models ■Researchers skilled in creating and utilizing animal models ■Researchers in alternative methods to animal testing *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
