Local high hardness technology using precision high-frequency heat treatment! Only the necessary areas can be hardened!
The precipitation-hardened silicon alloy can achieve localized high hardness depending on the application. When both hardness and toughness are required, localized solution heat treatment can be performed, and aging heat treatment can be implemented to achieve high hardness only in the necessary areas. Unlike high-frequency quenching, precipitation-hardened silicon alloys do not become highly hardened after high-frequency heat treatment. Since sufficient machining can be done after high-frequency heat treatment (solution treatment), the design flexibility is increased. For more details, please download and view the catalog. [Examples of Localized High Hardness Products] ■ Special Shafts - Only the tip and sliding parts are hardened to high hardness (HRC50 and above) - The overall structure maintains toughness (HRC35) ■ Bridge Bearing Rollers - Only the surface of the rollers is hardened to high hardness (HRC50 and above) - The overall structure maintains toughness (HRC35) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Silicolloy is a revolutionary new material that contains a large amount of silicon (silicon) and was developed using pure domestic technology. Silicolloy is a super alloy that possesses high strength, heat resistance (high-temperature oxidation resistance), corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high hardness, and low dimensional changes during heat treatment, all in one steel. Currently, many engineers (technicians and designers) are advancing its commercialization, contributing to new product development and total cost reduction through increased longevity. There is 'Silicolloy A2', which excels in overall balance as a precipitation-hardened stainless steel, and 'Silicolloy XVI', which has the highest hardness in the world as a precipitation-hardened type. Those who require both corrosion resistance and high hardness should not miss it!
