(Technical Advisor, Mr. Ohara) The pipe and piping outer wrap fin developed by our company (hereafter referred to as OPFF) has the power to increase the heat dissipation area to approximately 10 to 20 times that of the base pipe, while being retrofittable. Traditionally, finned pipes were made by welding, brazing, or extrusion to the base pipe, but these methods are difficult for bending processes and do not work with base pipes made of glass or resin. OPFF can improve heat dissipation performance regardless of the material of the base pipe, and its effectiveness has been confirmed to increase by 20% to 150% with natural convection cooling, and even more with forced convection.
