The professional-grade antibacterial, antiviral, and deodorizing coating "Delfino" decomposes organic substances into inorganic substances through a three-component catalytic reaction involving platinum, silver, and titanium oxide.
Under the concept of "Aiming for Zero Infection," we have developed a groundbreaking infection prevention product with antiviral and antibacterial properties by combining multiple catalysts: titanium oxide (photocatalyst) × silver Ag (antibacterial catalyst) × platinum Pt (three-way catalyst). This combination synergistically enhances the effects of catalytic reactions while compensating for each catalyst's weaknesses. ● Requests from the Field of Forensic Medicine Before the emergence of the novel coronavirus, the demand for infectious disease measures was very limited, primarily involving professionals such as forensic pathologists, ambulance crew members, and police officers who handle corpses. Forensic pathologists and laboratory technicians have always struggled with maintaining environmental hygiene during autopsies. There was an urgent need for antibacterial and deodorizing measures on-site. What was strongly sought after were strategies that could ensure "safety, security, and sustainability." With the cooperation of the School of Medicine at Kyorin University, Delfino Care has developed the product "delfino," which can safely and securely prevent infections.
