During charging, the electrolysis reaction suppresses the generation of hydrogen gas, and the oxygen gas produced is reduced back to the original liquid through chemical reactions on the surface of the negative plate, ensuring that the electrolyte volume does not decrease without losing moisture. Since there is no flowing electrolyte inside the battery, there is no worry about leakage like with vented types. The gel battery maintains stable performance under various adverse conditions by converting the electrolyte from liquid to gel. The electrolyte is injected into the battery body, allowing immediate use from the day of purchase! There is no need to charge immediately after purchase, making battery replacement easy and safe for anyone. By turning the electrolyte into a gel, there is no concern about leakage, and in the unlikely event that the battery case is damaged, the dispersion of the electrolyte is minimized. The self-discharge rate is also lower compared to conventional lead batteries, achieving about twice the lifespan! The expected lifespan is long, ranging from 7 to 10 years.
