Additionally, the Midas gas detector is equipped with the innovative Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol, which meets all power, control, and communication requirements through a single Ethernet connection. The architecture of Midas allows for cost-effective integration with PLCs and fieldbus systems.

The pyrolyzer features a replaceable heater assembly with a lifespan of over two years, allowing for low ownership costs. Additionally, it employs a unique new catalyst that improves gas conversion efficiency, achieving automatic flow control, temperature control, and fast, accurate performance. Furthermore, the pyrolyzer can be powered from the Midas gas detector body, which operates on PoE or DC24V.
