The Shuatsu Twist is a tapping-type one-sided bolt that forms female threads by plastically deforming the base material (steel plate) with its unique screw shape. Due to its low thread height (0.41mm), it produces almost no chips compared to standard products. Additionally, because the threads are concentric, they embed into the fastening material all around the bolt, achieving high strength, vibration resistance, and water tightness. It is used as a method for joining steel materials as an alternative to welding.
