**Features** 1. PM-21 promotes the crosslinking reaction between resins containing hydroxyl groups and amino resins. In particular, low-reactivity melamine resins of the HMMM type require curing accelerators that lower the baking temperature and shorten the baking time, and PM-21 is effective as an accelerator. 2. PM-21 has significantly lower viscosity increase during storage compared to free para-toluenesulfonic acid, making it superior for storage. 3. PM-21 lowers the baking temperature by an additional 10°C to 20°C compared to other block-type para-toluenesulfonic acids such as morpholine and aminomethylpropanol. **Addition Amount and Method** The addition amount varies depending on the reactivity of the main resin, the proportion of melamine resin, and the amount of pigment used, but generally, it is added at around 1.5% to 6% of the total resin solids. It can be added during the redown or dilution stage. It is advisable to add 10% to 20% of polar solvents such as alcohols, glycols, or esters into the mixed solvent.
