The casting molds used for manufacturing engine parts of vehicles need to be connected to a cooling hose and a hose for discharging the warm water used for cooling. The casting molds are equipped with fittings, and the piping work for the hose fittings is regularly performed by workers. During the hose and fitting connection work, visual inspections were conducted to check if the piping was correct; however, damages occurred due to mis-piping caused by human error.
