World's first non-contact danger detection and stop function: Safe Skin Dynamically detects intrusions within 15 cm and implements safety measures with a response time of 10 ms. Two safety processing modes are selectable: Pre-collision stop: When an obstacle approaches the Safe Skin, the robot quickly enters a temporary stop state. When the obstacle moves away, the robot automatically resumes operation. Automatic obstacle avoidance: When an obstacle approaches the Safe Skin, the robot determines the position of the obstacle according to an algorithm and automatically avoids it.
