A ready-made stool infused with irony.
This stool was designed in 1957 by the brothers Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, incorporating the concept of "ready-made." It combines pre-existing elements such as a seat used in tractors, pins from racing bikes, a steel crossbow, and the beams of a sailing ship. "Mezzadro" means "sharecropper," and it ironically incorporates the symbol of the poor laborer.
